Magnoni, the LM-group brand, has just finalized a new product addressed to multinational beverage companies: it is the latest version of the integrated system for laser marking on empty cans. This product improves the performance of the previous version, thanks to the installation of an additional control “station”.
The system receives the product accumulated in a single lane which begins to flow on a vacuum belt. The aspiration takes place from below through a system that allows stability to the cans along their path and help them to pass through the first control station where inside and mouth of such cans are monitored. After this step the cans are taken over by the following transport system which have the aspiration from above. Thanks to this method the laser system can mark products on the bottom. Each control phase has his own waste system with traceability handled by encoders: this allows to control with precision and reduce at minimum any kind of waste.
The can row proceeds on the successive belt where aspiration return to be from below as per the first stage: from technical point of view it guarantees the stabilization of the cans before reaching next production phase.
One of this system is already leaving the LM facilities for an important Italian plant of a well-known multinational, is more performing compared to the previous version: it manages to reach 90 thousand cans processed per hour, 30 thousand more than the previous version.
Thanks to the two control “stations” and the two related groups for handling the waste of non-compliant cans, useless waste is limited to a minimum: the two control phases are separated, one dedicated to the integrity of the can and the other one focused on marking phase. Thanks to this the system, the equipment ensures more precision and efficiency.
The system also guarantees safety, thanks to side doors that prevent tampering and protect from the laser system. On the software front, the machine is compatible with any model of industrial vision system. The system guarantees safety too thanks to side doors that prevent any kind of tempering and at the same time protect the laser system.
From software side, the machine is compatible with every vision system on the industrial market.
